Artilleriet x Ostrongården

Discover the magical Oyster farm, Ostrongården, an oasis on Sweden’s west coast where indoor spaces blend effortlessly with the outdoors. In the charming coastal town of Grebbestad, known for its deep fishing heritage, Lotta Klemming has made her mark as one of the world’s few professional female oyster divers.

Through our local partner, Artilleriet, we are excited to present this new journal,  showcasing Ostrongården that features our rug in the most beautiful setting.

Lotta’s journey began at the age of 12, when she earned her diving certificate. Now, 20 years later, she provides wild-caught oysters to top restaurants worldwide, bringing the richness of the ocean to the finest tables.

She has since expanded her vision by opening Ostrongården, a first-class accommodation in a simple, elegant Scandinavian style with architecture that takes the location and surroundings into account. Situated beside a nature reserve, the property offers stunning views of the archipelago stretching towards the horizon.

Ostrongården reflects Lotta’s core values—craftsmanship, durability, and a deep respect for nature. Her philosophy is present in every detail, echoing the authenticity and quality that define her work.

Cappelen Dimyr rug no.10 has taken a central part in the house, dressing the living room with its elevated yet classic design.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, carefully designed by Artilleriet Kitchen Studio. Our colonnade no.09 adds a warm female touch to the ambiance with a floral motif, inspired from ancient Scandinavian tulip-patterns that brings forth a homage to these roots.

In the newly built guest house, Cappelen Dimyr rug no.13 takes a central role in the living room. no.13 is fully hand-knotted and sports a hand cut pattern. The twisted wool fringes along all sides of the rug are a striking emphasis on its artistic expression. In true Cappelen Dimyr tradition, this is a conscious, crafted, and personal piece.
