Internship at Cappelen Dimyr


Cappelen Dimyr is a soft interior atelier based in Scandinavia, passionate about creating contemporary textile essentials ranging from handmade rugs to

artisanal wall tapestries in the finest natural fibers, handcrafted by artisans in India using traditional techniques. The world of Cappelen Dimyr is significantly bohemian, warm and artistic with a clear DNA – conscious, crafted and personal.

The point of view is an interpretation of slow luxury with each object carefully designed and produced to stand the test of time. We create soft interiors for design-conscious homes. The aesthetic of our products combines the tranquility of natural materials with refined and premium unconventional design, appealing to the modern bohemian. 

 

Cappelen Dimyr launched the first chapter of rugs in the autumn of 2019 and now offers both rugs, tapestries and furniture covers, available online and with carefully selected retailers worldwide.




Creative Design Internship

As a Design intern, you'll get a chance to unlock your creative potential and work closely with our small creative design team on projects including developing new designs, content creation and various projects connected to product development.  If you have an eye for aesthetics and a passion for coming up with concepts and transforming them into captivating designs and visuals, this is a perfect opportunity for you.


Time period: Fall 2024

Location: The position is based in Malmö, Sweden

What You Can Expect

  • Assist in the design and production process
  • Collaborate on the conceptualization and execution of look books and other design projects.
  • Support the content team in creating and refining visual narratives.
  • Engage in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree within Design
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Passionate about design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • The Intern position is unpaid. You must be enrolled in a program, where the internship is part of your studies, and you’ll need a working visa for the country where the position is held.
