meets contemporary Scandinavian design — Scandinavian Soul, Irish Soil.

For the project, Cappelen Dimyr has created a unique collection of bespoke rugs and wall tapestries, designed exclusively for Ómós.
Developed in close dialogue with the interior architects, the handcrafted pieces bring warmth, texture and character to the spaces while becoming an integral part of the interior.

Led by Irish chef Cúán Greene, whose time at Copenhagen’s Noma and Geranium shaped his appreciation for Scandinavian design, Ómós brings together Irish craftsmanship and a restrained Nordic sensibility. The interiors have been created by Asca Studio, Cassandra Bradfield and Sofia Olsson, together with Rebecca Norberg of Relief Gallery.

Recently launched rug no.26 in jute and wool.
Handcrafted from natural fibres by skilled artisans, the textiles were created as an integral part of the architecture and atmosphere of Ómós — connecting Scandinavian design sensibility with Irish heritage and place.
Scandinavian Soul, Irish Soil captures the essence of the collaboration: two design traditions brought together through craftsmanship, natural materials and a shared appreciation for spaces made to endure.
