Position: Full Time (Parental Leave 12 Months)

The Role

The Ecommerce Manager role is a key role for the future global growth journey that Cappelen Dimyr is on. In the role you will be responsible for the day to day management of the Ecommerce channel, developing the Ecommerce strategy and executing it with the aim to drive growth and to develop a seamless and excellent consumer experience. You will lead our digital business development, recommend global and local trading activity, provide competitor insight and identify and provide input on relevant commercial and technology improvement opportunities to fuel growth.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the Ecommerce channe
  • Monitor sales growth and profitability, with a view to improve both
  •  Responsible for developing the Ecommerce strategy
  • Derive data available, analyse and translate into actions
  • Provide insight into the markets we trade in and our competitors
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting across business metrics
  • Keep up to date with market trends and innovation in ecommerce, online premium interior retailing, evaluating this data to present recommendations and initiatives focusing on customer needs and overall customer experience
  • Manage communication with 3rd party developers as well as develop internally the tech updates needed
  • P&L management for E-commerce business

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years E-commerce & Management experience
  • Pro-active, entrepreneurial and commercial thinker with a strong bias for action
  •  You are strategic and translate customer needs into a commercial plan
  • You think fast, work proactively and always keep on top of things
  • Ability to spot issues, and be hands-on in trying to solve them
  • Able to zoom out to see the bigger picture as well as zoom in
  • In depth knowledge of digital marketing, overall ecommerce dynamics and online KPI’s
  • Advanced experience with Shopify
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Skilled user in Microsoft Office
