no.15 is classic in it's appearance, but the curls give it a soft and groovy look reminiscent of the 70´s luxurious materiality.

 Made from unbleached New Zealand wool, hand-knotted and hand-spun. Due to the hand-spun technique, the yarn makes for a curly characteristic look.

The rug amplify Cappelen Dimyr's ethos of a contemporary softness and bohemian feeling. In combination with the beautiful warm off-white color, it becomes a testament to the luxury that is synonymous with our world.

Any variation in colour or detailing is a result of the handcrafted nature of this item and makes each piece unique. Please note this is a partly long pile and shaggy rug which usually tends to shed more than low pile rugs. Make sure to vacuum often to reduce this.

Return & Exchange

We have a 14 day exchange and return policy on standard size rugs and tapestry from the date that you have received the delivery. If you want to exchange or return the order, please contact us within 14 days! Please do not return any order before contacting us.

We offer free exchange if you want to change to another size or product in our range.

For returns, we will charge the shipping fee of the returning piece. Once the product has arrived to us, in the same condition as it was sent, we will arrange the refund less the amount of the return shipping fee.

We do not offer returns on samples or custom size orders. Custom size orders where a rug is specially manufactured for you, are all final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned. The customer has 3 days from purchase to cancel the order before production starts.

Care Instructions

Cappelen Dimyr is produced by hand in the finest wool with long and strong fibers. Because of its natural structure, the long pile rugs tend to shed initially, and it is therefore recommended to vacuum the rugs daily in the beginning. It is common for rugs to lose individual fibers, and this has been taken in to consideration in all Cappelen Dimyr designs, to make sure that the excess fibers do not affect the quality of the rug. It is recommended flat spout when vacuuming long pile rugs to avoid damaging the yarn. Make sure not to use a heavy beater bar. Shedding tends to decrease within a couple of months.

    We offer free delivery for all EU countries as well as Norway, Switzerland and UK.

    For countries outside the EU, we offer shipping at a charge. The shipping fee depends on the size of the order and country of delivery and will be added at check out.

    All our shipments are delivered with the incoterm Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), cleared for import and all applicable taxes and duties paid (e.g. VAT, GST). Thus, no other duties or fees will be added.

Every piece is trimmed by hand,washed with natural soap, and dried under the sun. Cappelen Dimyr uses no chemicals in any part of the production, and constantly strives to improve their practices in respect for people and the planet. Our production partners are certified by Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.
